Cherish Marasigan

I’m not really a fashionista cause I don’t find it practical.

My fashion sense was influenced by my hobby, which is dancing.
From when I was still a nursing student until today as a registered nurse, I still continue to dance. I’m also an active member of the De la Salle University Health Science Institute.

I learned a lot because of joining that organization. You should always stand out, no matter how cheap or expensive your clothes are. If you look uncomfortable, it shows on stage, and since our budget isn’t big and we’re seldom supported by the college, we had to learn how to make clothes from scratch, recycle, or simply try to mix and match, which I guess is my fashion sense.

As for my hair, would you believe that I cut it? I learned hair cutting because every time I go to the salon, I’m not satisfied with the haircuts. All I use is a small comb, a scissor made for layers, and a styling spray. That’s what I did in this picture.

I’m obsessed with makeup as well. Every time we perform, I always do my own hair and makeup. I never had a formal class for make-up and cosmetics though, so I just browse the internet and magazines.

I always feel and look good, cause I save a lot. It’s easy to look fashionable and glamorous without breaking the bank.
